Do pharmacists have to take a bar exam the same way lawyers do?

My roommate says her sister, who is a pharmacist, has to take the bar exam in any state she wants to practice. The same bar exam lawyers take. Is that true?

  1. I think pharmacists do have to take a state exam in order to be licensed to dispense controlled substances (any prescription medications) in that state. However, it's definitely not the same bar exam that lawyers take, since the legal bar exam covers many areas of law other than controlled substances.
  2. Yes they take some kind of exam because thats how they evaluate you, partly when you go into pharmacy school same goes with med school dental school or any form of highger instituion
