What kind of perks do nurses look for when searching for a job?

I am writing a paper for school and included in the topics are my recruitment strategies, incentives, benefits, etc., to gain the best nurses for my organization. Please let me know, as a nurse, what kind of things you look for when searching for a job. On the flip side, as a patient, what kind of nurse would you want to have? Are there any qualities that stand out for you? Thank you for answering these questions!!!!!

1. i used to work for the 3rd largest hospital in Hawaii... Hawaii has a severe shortage of nurses (RNs & LPNs) for the past 20 years and we always had to recruit nurses from the states every single year... in addition to competitive pay, we also have to offer free transportation to Hawaii, free housing, extended vacation with pay.
