Besides physician, what are the best jobs to go for in health care?

I'm a junior in college and I just want to know what are the best health care jobs? If you know anything that has to do with psychology, that would be a huge plus, since I love psychology(but can't major in it beause of my parents)

  1. try social work, or even speech therapy or physical therapist
  2. Nursing has the strongest job outlook and the widest range of opportunities. Also consider that if your parents don't want you to go into psychology, you can go into nursing school and get your BSN. Work as a psychatric RN. Then go back to school and become a Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner, who would work with mental health patients performing counseling, but also able to prescribe medications. Plus, the income for some PsyNPs is close to $200K per year in some areas of the country. You can meet your desires and your parents at the same time, plus have a strong job outlook.
