Questions for Health Care Professionals?

Why did you choose a career in health care? Do you think it benefits you, the public, and/or the corporations? Outline your specific career goals in your profession. If you chose your career because of the money, are you compassionate about your work? I'm doing research on what ppl think of their careers. I am a pre-med student ready to apply to several programs, depending on which I get accepted, that's the path I take and I need to make sure it makes me happy.

1. People choose a medical carreer for a thousand different reasons. I chose nursing because medicine simply fascinted me and still does. Inside most nurses is a desire to help others. The money is great but if that's the only reason someone chooses this job, they will grow to hate it. Its demanding, stressful, and emotionally taxing. But thats okay with me. I love it.
