1. a) No. Most are very desensitized and thus have bad bedside manner. Also they get paid by pharmaceutical companies to prescribe medicines, so they are likely to dope up a person who doesn't need it. Also they aren't taught anything about alternative or natural treatments, so they discard all of them as B.S. b) Yes. Usually they do their jobs well and are very nice. c) Mostly. Other than the fact that hardly anyone believes in natural treatments and immediately pushes meds, people try to help. If Insurance companies count as Other Allied Health, then no, they fucking suck. They sell health, which I find to be very wrong.
