1. Please, please, please, if your assignment was to *interview* a health care professional, call them up or meet them and *interview* them. Asking questions by e-mail is not an interview. It is harder to speak to someone than e-mail them, but that may be part of your instructor's intention. Talking with someone gets lots more information than written Q & A. Every year, 2-4 students e-mail me with "interview" questions. When I e-mail them back asking for them to call me, they never do. There are *tons* of health care professionals out there- docs, nurses, phys assist, pharmacists, emts, etc, etc. Most would be thrilled to have someone care about what they do.
